Dr. David Tourgeman is Board Certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He received his Bachelor of Science degree with honors at the University of California in Santa Barbara. He then obtained his Medical Degree with honors at then University of Southern California. He continued at the University of Southern California where he performed his residency and fellowship training at the Los Angeles County Medical Center.
His passion for teaching led him to stay as Faculty at the University of Southern California, where he helped doctors in training in advanced reproductive surgery as well as the clinical practices of reproductive endocrinology and infertility. While there he also helped advance the field in multiple areas of research, presented years of data at several annual meetings, and published extensively in peer review journals.
Dr. Tourgeman strongest desire has been to help couples and patients to grow their families, and in 2005, joined HRC Fertility, the largest fertility program west of the Mississippi. He was an integral part of opening the West Los Angeles office, a practice that has flourished in helping many families realize their dreams. He is now also seeing patients in the newly added Encino office.
Dr. Tourgeman’s area of interests include helping women of advancing maternal age, and has been a pioneer of outstanding success with both egg donation and gestational surrogacy. He is very active in helping women with egg cryo-preservation for either medical conditions such as cancer or for the purpose of fertility preservation so that advancing age will not necessarily affect their potential to conceive in the future.
Patients that have worked with Dr. Tourgeman, know that he is truly committed to helping them have a family. He is an experienced, knowledgeable, and compassionate physician that has pride in helping couples near and far, regardless of race, religion or sexual orientation obtain the ultimate dream: a family.
